ITALEO was founded in 1993 by Officer Frank Corridi of the Rochester NY Police Dept.  It began and continues today as a social organization for sworn law enforcement officers of Italian descent.   Today ITALEO has expanded to over 170 members, including retired officers and civilians of  any ethnic origin.

In the recent decade, ITALEO has been called upon to support causes involving fallen or severely injured officers and their families.  Our organization has sponsored and/or run pasta dinner fund raisers, Cub Scout Bike Rodeo's, golf tournaments, fishing derbies, and worthy causes throughout the area such as the Angels of Mercy, Buzz the Blue, Polar Plunge, Special Olympics and Camp Good Days and Special Times to name a few.

As we approach the 30th anniversary of our association, we continue to honor and support our heritage and law enforcement by displaying pride and integrity in profession and ethnicity.
